UGC extends closing date for online application in four Scholarship Schemes 2020-21
New Delhi, 30 October 2020: University Grants Commission (UGC), the higher education regulator, has extended the closing date for submission of online applications for four schemes for the Academic year 2020-2021. The revised closing date for application submission is now 30 November 2020. The UGC has earlier invited fresh applications (including renewals) from regular and full time students for four schemes for the Academic year 2020-2021. These four schemes are as followed: Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for single Girl Child (SGC) PG Scholarship for University Rank Holder candidates (URH) Ishan Uday Special scheme for North Eastern Region (NER) PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST candidates (PGSPROF) Following COVID 19 pandemic, many eligible student have been unable to submit application on time with required documents.
